…is all I’ve been in anticipation of heading to San Francisco, which I’m doing right now! A gentleman from the Air Force and I sprinted (well, he walked extremely fast) from Gate C to Gate D in the Atlanta airport at 9:00 to catch our respective 9:10 p.m. flights. I’ve never cut it so close before!
In the days leading up to my departure, I’ve been unable to keep just one thought in my head. Scatterbrained, if you will. Dreams of San Francisco have been mingling with my day-to-day tasks. It’s not my fault. The universe has been gently pushing me toward my destination. As I sat at a stoplight on Tuesday, this was the license plate in front of me:
In preparation for my departure, I’ve been trying to eat more green foods. Because heaven knows vegetables won’t be at the top of my priority list this weekend!
An egg with pumpkin butter on an English muffin (tasted like French toast...not kidding), cucumber slices and broccoli with light ranch.
I’ve also been drinking this at every chance I get:
Whatever it takes, find this. To be fair, the Silk version is just as great-tasting if you can tolerate soy!
And I’ve spent plenty of time cuddling the puppies and setting off my allergies. Why must I have such horrendous allergies to dogs and cats?
I don’t have as many pics of Peanut because she doesn’t pose quite like Marshmallow does. Ham!
So anyway, I’m in the air, blogging, eating Just Mango Slices, catching whiffs of flatulence emanating from the seat in front of me… totally fabulous things!
I don’t even care about the stench— I am just too damn excited to see everyone tomorrow! If you are a blogger or reader in San Francisco, please email me if you’d like to join some of us for a little gathering Friday night!
I’m outie! Going to start watching Revenge!
Ciao for now,
Kailey
