Simply Sunday

Hello, all! I have only a few final words on the hubbub and then I’m done: Thank you to the supporters and the dissenters and everyone in between. I’ve learned from you all. Now can we please move on? Great!

Sunday was just as it should be: a lovely mix of relaxing and productive. It started with coffee, Chef Roblé & Co and breakfast:

2% Chobani with cinnamon, stevia and Sunbutter.

After an hour or two of lounging, DM and I showered and got ready for an afternoon out. I needed out of the house, but first I needed a snack.

Turkey and provolone roll ups. Isn't it bizarre to see meat on here?

We spent some time at Starbucks working and sipping on blonde roasts and strawberry smoothies. Work wrapped up, we drove over to Whole Foods for lunch.

Greens, peppers, cucumbers, chicken, almonds and sesame stick things that I cannot resist.

Pepper jack.

Basking in the sunshine pouring in the windows.

Not.

Insert shopping, an hour of House Hunters and a nap. Then more snacks.

Salt-and-pepper pistachios, pepper jack, pretzel bread.

DM had to leave just before dinner. The worst part of the weekend, by far. Thankfully, I’ll be seeing him in just four days.

Dinner consisted of leftovers from Saturday and honestly looks a little dismal (but was great).

Piccata, portobellos, broccoli.

Did dishes, gabbed with the fam, did some laundry. Usual Sunday things. And then I ate again.

2% Fage + Sun Warrior vanilla + Ghirardelli semi-sweet chips because it's a chocolaty time of the month.

That’s that. Perfectly calm, normal, stable, easygoing. Just as I’m hoping this week in blogging will be! Ha!

Ciao for now,

Kailey

Sunday = FOOTBALL. Soooo much football. The rest of the weekend was hectic at night, but what isn’t when you’re in college? Sesame sticks = my addiction. Magical with chocolate chips and nuts.

I love your simple meals. Sometimes those are the best! And you can never go wrong with Whole Foods salad bar. Looks like you and your man had a lovely Sunday. (:

PS: Not to sound creepy, but you two make the prettiest couple. Seriously. So cute!

I finally went to Whole Foods a few weeks ago and made the BEST salad. It was a little on the pricier side, so I’ve been trying to mimic it when I pack lunches for work. I need to go back and do some more exploring, though.

My Sunday was pretty lazy…which is nice every once in a while.

Cannot wait to hear details on your modeling gig! I’ve been trying to mix strength training into my usual cardio workouts so I can tone up a little as well. Get it girl! =]

My Sunday was calm as well :) Oh man I just finished doing the most relaxing yoga ever with my roommates and our upstairs neighbor. It was really so nice.

ANYWHOOOO! I feel like I’ve been out of town or something in the blogging world :) Haven’t read a blog in awhile, and it’s like I’m catching up with old friends.. in a virtual world!

Much love to you, girlie!

p.s. those sesame sticks are SO addictive–YUM!

“Onto the next one, onto the next one…” :D

My Sunday was low-key but awesome – had pilates, dance practice, and then did some shopping; aaaand some homework.

I watched football yesterday.
Two games.
In their entirety.
Who am I?

I also worked out, made my way through two books, avoided work, napped, and baked cookies and banana bread. It was heavenly!

My sister is also in love with those sesame sticks! Once, she said “I am so glad I love a healthy snack!” And then I showed her the bag that they came in, with all the grease that soaked through. lol. She is one of those people that thinks if it comes from Whole Foods it’s automatically healthy!
It’s kinda cute. :-)

Eek sorry there has been so much blogging drama in your world lately– hope that is over with for you now! Looks like a great weekend with DM but it must be so hard when they come to an end! Glad you are seeing him soon though. And I’ve never thought of putting protein powder in greek yogurt but I like it?!

I’m obsessed with chef Roble. I’ll watch that ish every time it comes on. I also wished doom to the NE Patriots. That didn’t work out as planned.

Has anyone asked if you were brother and sister while you are out together? (Lol)

I was a little sick this week so I slept, watched tv, did some homework and ate some saltines. Sounds fun? Not.

Those turkey roll-ups are good with a bit of mustard and a a sandwich slice pickle (I like the sweet kind, but dill would work too). Sort of a wrapless wrap.
